The Zenobia Association, together with its Peacebuilder Women team, implemented the “She Builds Peace” initiative in the Al-Bab area in northern Syria. The initiative aimed to enhance the role of women in peacebuilding, particularly considering the impact climate change has on their health, living conditions, and social status. The initiative included awareness sessions in schools and camps, educational videos on global warming and its effects on women, and the promotion of renewable energy use.
Field visits to various organizations and associations in the region were also organized to encourage institutions to implement initiatives aimed at reducing the impacts of climate change and fostering positive change in the area.
