As part of humanitarian efforts to support those affected by the earthquake disaster in northern Syria, Zenobia Organization, through a general support grant from the Global Fund for Women, implemented a range of services and activities in response to the earthquake that struck Syria and Turkey in 2023, extending over an entire year.
The grant aimed to support widowed women and their children by providing some health, economic, and relief services, as well as securing school supplies for students in the affected areas. This assistance helped alleviate some of the suffering of the most vulnerable groups and contributed to their social and economic stability.
In addition to achieving the organization’s humanitarian and social goals, the grant enhanced its organizational capacities and helped secure the necessary resources to sustain its work and activities, ensuring the continued provision of services to the targeted groups.
