Zenobia Organization, together with the Peace Builders Team in northern Syria, carried out the “Bridges of Peace” initiative. It aimed to understand the concerns and aspirations of women in recently liberated areas in northern Syria, particularly in eastern Aleppo neighborhoods. The goal was to give them space to participate in the future stability of society by producing a research paper that analyzed their challenges and hopes for the upcoming phase in Syria.
The initiative included 150 field surveys targeting various categories of women in Aleppo, culminating in a comprehensive research paper titled “Their Voices from the Heart of Aleppo: Fears and Aspirations of Women in the Post-Conflict Context and Building Social Cohesion.” The paper relied on both quantitative and qualitative data and was translated into English to ensure broader dissemination.
