Zenobia Organization and the Peace Builders Team implemented the “Hand in Hand for Peacebuilding” initiative in northern Syria. The initiative aimed to provide psychosocial support by creating a safe space for the wives of the missing, empowering them to build mutual support networks and alleviate psychological stress through a series of group therapy sessions and life skills development.
The initiative also produced a powerful documentary video that highlighted the suffering of the mothers and wives of the missing under the title: “Between Hope and Demands for Justice: Stories of Mothers and Wives of the Missing.”
