Within a women’s community initiative launched by the Zenobia Association for Syrian Women and Family, which aimed to shed light on the suffering of Syrian women who lived through the era of ISIS, a booklet entitled “ISIS Does Not Represent Me” was produced. The objective of the booklet was to document the suffering and struggles of the women who told the stories within this booklet and whose stories expressed their rejection of extremism and violence that were practiced against them in all its forms.
On 12/11/2021, Zenobia Association launched this booklet through a session that took place via the Zoom platform, and it invited many political, civil, and actors interested in this topic, within the scope of the global campaign “She Builds Peace”, in which Zenobia Association participates as a member of the WASL Global Network.
